It depends on square footage, ceiling height, how much prep the walls need, and how many colors and coats are involved — which is why we quote per job rather than per room. We give you a written, itemized estimate after seeing the space, and that number is what you pay. If we find something unexpected once walls are opened up, we stop and talk to you before doing anything that changes the price.
Yes, and yes. We offer free in-person estimates across the GTA — we measure, check the condition of the surfaces, and talk through finishes and colors on site. If you’d rather not book a visit, we also do virtual estimates: send us photos and rough measurements and we will quote from those.
A single bedroom is usually one to two days. A full interior — walls, ceilings, doors and trim — typically runs three to six days depending on size and how much patching is needed. Exteriors depend on the weather and the surface, and we’ll tell you honestly if the season is wrong for what you want done. You get a realistic start and finish date with the estimate, not after the fact.
Not for standard interior or exterior painting. The painters who show up are our own crew, trained and covered by us, which is why the same two people are usually with you from the first day to the last. It also means if something isn’t right, you’re talking to the company that did the work rather than a third party we would have to chase.
Interior work is warranted for up to 15 years, depending on the scope and the products specified — we confirm the exact term in writing on your estimate. It includes peeling, blistering, flaking and cracking that trace back to how the surface was prepped or coated. Products also carry the manufacturer's own warranty, and we’ll help you make a claim if one is ever needed.
Our painters are trained and certified through the Painting Contractors Association (PCA), we’re covered by WSIB, and we carry $5 million in liability insurance. If a ladder goes through a window or a floor gets damaged, that’s covered — you’re not relying on a handshake. We can provide certificates on request before work starts.
Prep is the difference between a paint job that lasts and one that doesn’t. So, it is included rather than sold as an extra: filling nail holes and cracks, sanding, caulking gaps around trim and doors, spot-priming bare or repaired areas, and masking floors, furniture and fixtures. We also remove switch plates and hardware where it makes for a cleaner line. Anything structural — rotted wood, failing drywall, water damage — gets flagged and quoted separately so you can decide.
