We’re hiring for the following position:
PAINT TECHNICIAN
Location: Durham Region
Daytime, evening, and weekend availability required
Starting Salary: $18/hr
As a Paint Technician at Finest Painters, you’ll be an essential part of our production team, assisting with all aspects of the painting process. Your role will be to support the Painters and ensure that each project runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Assist painters in all aspects of production.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by taping, sanding, caulking, and making minor repairs.
- Protect customers’ floors, furniture, and other belongings from paint and damage.
- Help maintain tools and equipment.
- Notify the Team Lead when supplies are needed.
- Clean up the job site at the end of the day.
- Adhere to Finest Painters’ production standards and safety guidelines.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School diploma (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Independent and self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work during the day and on weekends.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Experience working on a painting crew (preferred).
- Familiarity with common hand and power tools.

- Strong time management skills.
- Enjoys working both indoors and outdoors.
